the story of a dog, Lucky

one day, like any other days, except... a cute silky-terrier puppy comes to your house, and you noticed him.. you fed him, played with him, bathed him and then let him go again.. thinking that being such a valuable and handsome breed of dog, it must be owned by someone.. if not, it deserved to be owned by someone much better than myself..

the dog left your house that day... and you bade farewell and wishes the dog all the best.. however, he continue to turn up at your house everyday for a week, for water, food and for some company.. you dont really have dog food, so you've been feeding him scraps of whatever you yourself liked... even that, the silky-terrier ate them all up... you thought that, this dog must be damn hungry... and seeing its soiled fur, you bathed him again.. and again, that evening, you bade farewell to him... wishing him well..

however, that night, you're wondering that if you ever wanted a dog.. you've never thought of rearing a dog yourself... but you noticed yourself being more attracted to the dog you've been feeding and care for, for the past 7 days.. then you've decided, to adopt the silky-terrier the next day, when he comes over to your house tomorrow...

and the next day, you woke up early to go to the nearby petshop to get some premium dog biscuits, feeding bowl, a bottle of shampoo and a collar and leash.. with the happy thought of meeting the dog later in the afternoon.. you've even thought of a name for it, Lucky.. Luck was what brought the both of you together...

on the way home, while driving, you saw a motionless body of a puppy lying by the roadside... with hundreds of flies flying about its opened jaw and lifeless body.. you prayed it is not the worst that came to your mind, but as you drive pass the body, you knew... it was indeed YOUR Lucky.. and you pulled over at the side of the road, 200 metres from the corpse of Lucky.. tears flowed from your eyes... your head is throbbing like mad... you looked at the stuff you bought for Lucky, which are at the back seat of your car.. and stared blankly...

after half-an-hour, you decided to clear your mind and drive home... trying your best to forget LUCKY and hoping that LUCKY finds a good owner in Heaven :)

ps: this is not some copy & paste work.. you will notice that, as i've used only simple words unlike any seasoned authors :)
