50th Merdeka..

before we all know it, the day is gonna end.. and only just, i thought back... only just, i realised.. what Merdeka meant..

at 6, as usual, its football time at the field.. however, hardly anyone was there.. were only 5 kids..

so, reluctant to go back, i suggested a game to them.. "Galah Panjang" , using the badminton court lines.. only few knew that game.. i had to teach the others.. they were all malay.. then a friend of mine came, he's older.. then he made me realize, we're playing a traditional game.

If I could I relive those days, I know the one thing that would never change ....- Nickelback

i had flashback of my primary school days.. i'm those few these days who actually played traditional games like galah panjang, the skipping thingy.. and bottlecaps.. of course i learned and became good at it.. all thanks to my malay buddies.. they treated me like their own.. i think i'm fortunate being those few who experienced those games myself.. they never die.. unless its stopped being played..

like what happened today, i had to teach those kids how to play em.. they havent even heard of Galah Panjang, which i used to play it under the sun, everyday before and after school..

sad isnt it.. as being outdoor these days are not encouraged.. and we're afraid of walking alone.. who knows what do we fear in the future? afraid of going outdoors?? activities like fishing and playing kites will be missed... there is this feeling when we look at the sun, with the blue sky as the natural wallpaper that cant be replaced.. looking at the sky releases tension and stress.. everything will be forgotten.. no wonder they say sun bathing are addictive..

visit to the petshop xD

its today.. 9 days since henry last eaten.. so its time i get him a mice at the petshop which is kinda near my house.

enters the petshop and head to the mice section.. stares at the mice..

me: yer, all the mice so small..

dad: ya la! what to do..

me: *sighs* nvm la, there lets get the biggest one. the white one.

a worker was staring..

me: eh, semua kecik la.. takder besar sikit ker?

the guy: takder la. itu yang paling besar. nak besar sangat buat apa *wonders*

me: errrr...*finding for answer* nak makan la! *a rather mad reply xD*

the guy: *stares* ....... nak makan !??!?

me: ye la.. ok, bagi yang besar tu..

the guy: ok.......*still shocked* mau macam mana makan?? goreng ka??

me: xD

oh, and i bathed henry too ! he ate a mice 2 days ago, and pooped as well as changed his skin yesterday.. he had a brand new skin, and it feels cool to touch him.. so i had to clean his home, well, it smelled.. a little =p

another thing is that i got selected for National Service.. my reaction ?? no difference actually.. going or not will be fine for me.. really

theres another thing i wanted to type... but forgotten xD.. havin short term memory loss lately.. oh ! I'm learning how to drive !!*a kancil =p* .. it went fairly well.. no complaints apart from impatient drivers overtaking me.. i'm just keeping my temper whenever a car passes me, or honked me.. grr..

thats all happened so far.. my mood ? umm, quite okay, better than ok actually.. ^^ but i guess i've distanced myself from a few really close friends of mine.. not sure why, i just feel, i need more time to get less things done these days.. even to the extend of not saying "Hi" to them.. ignoring them... i feel bad by doing this actually, but i dont want others to feel bad either, sometimes(most time) i hurt other's feelings without actually realising it.. maybe its my nature... trying to improve myself... give me time.. i'll make a new me.

My first ball python !!

finally after a long journey, i got my ball python.. umm.. its kinda small really, smaller than i expected it to be, but thats good ! i prefer them small ! big ones freak me out

ok, i saw it eat a baby rat.. which is coool ! but i cant play with it within the next 24 hours, or else its gonna regurgitate the mice.. which i'm sure gonna look awful !

and i got another rat for the next feeding. but i will feed henry maybe twice a month. I dont plan to make it grow too fast.

anyway, here's the picture.. its not really a good shot, and henry looks much bigger in the picture..

its saturday, so, off i go to the field with my soccer boots..

it was quite deserted at first.. went roundin and catch some wind on my face, then, went back to the field, they're starting to play.. okay, went on the field, to the bench, and change my slippers to soccer boots.. then, a young kid approached me.. ahah, he was minuscule :P, in full soccer attire, shiny new black boots with "Figos" written on it..

kid : abang, can i play ah??

me : *trying to sound as friendly as i could* why, yes, of course, go play lah..

kid : *soundin sad* but they dont let me play.. when i tell them, they said cannot

me : aiy... can can, wait, i wear my shoes then i bring u there.. btw, how old are you??

kid : i'm standard 2 .. waa *looks at me* nike shoes lah !

me : *couldnt help but to grin* ahaha, ya la, but old already, see yours so shiny

kid : ya, my dad bought for me, and i choose black so wont get dirty fast..

me : *smiles, finish putting on shoes* come boy, follow me

kid : *lookin quite scared, and i had to push him*

me : *shouts* ehh, i'm playing which side??

those guys : *shouts from the other end* here la Lim ! come !

me : eh, why u all dont let this boy play, let him play our team, k ??..

those guys : he so small la, if anything happen u "tanggung" k , lim..

me : *lol, feeling quite sorry for the kid..* ok la, no prob one.. come boy, u play my team..

woow !! yesterday, was the first time, i ever held a snake !! it wasnt scary at all ! in fact it was nicee! holding it is as if holding a human's arm..

my parents agreed @!!!! i'm delighted ! but first , i may have to source around, to find a cheaper and smaller python.. the one i held was kinda big, and pricey.

this is the ball python i wanted! isnt it cute!!

Sem Break

i'm having my semester break already ! exams was quite easy alright.. but i cant always be too sure :D

well, ok, i might be free, but busy too... many unfinished plan i gotta complete... that includes my freestyle practice and i've yet to get a new football...

also, i'm coaxing my parents into allowing me to have a serpent, a ball python hopefully ..

hehee.. beginner snakes of course, they're not at all dangerous.. as i prefer slow moving snakes rather than irritating puppies who poops everywhere!

Cinema-niac

i couldn't stand missing too many shows, well, so i went to catch Transformers with a bunch of friends! it was worth the rm7 , thats the important thing.. overall, the movie has everything!

love, adolescense(teen maybe), awesome graphics, and great humour !

gosh, i love this kind of storyline which ends with a loser guy becoming the hero..

umm.. it feels nice imagining myself to be one someday, turning into a hero and stuff, but well, i dont think things like this could happen to anyone easily... and even if it happens, the odds of me becoming the chosen one is 1 in a 100,000 or a billion ??

sighs, better stop day dreaming and return to reality.. movies are movies, in the real life , we choose what we want, and make it happen...
